they are 2 1/16 long and open a little less than a wooden pin at 7/16 compared to 1/2. they are also a bit stronger and have more holding power. I have yet to have one come off the clothes line where wooden ones it was a regular occurrence, even with new wooden pins

They do open as far as wooden clothespins and are about 3/4 as long as the wooden ones.

About 2 1/4 inch long. I don’t have wooden clothespins but they open wide enough to hang jeans and towels.

Yes they would work as long as the hanger plus the clothes didnt measure more than 1/2" thick. The clips do even better on those flat felty covered space saving hangers. They do not work on thin old timey wire hangers to secure clothes because they just glide around on the wire. The clips are really excellent for hangi… see more

Roughly the same IMO. Some of them have the tension set too light to grip properly. To adjust those, hold them all the way open and then force the jaws closed with fingers or pliers
