If your pantry shelves are not thicker than the width of the opening of the holders, it should be OK. Hope this helps.

paper towels fits very well and there is probably a 1/2 inch of play between the roll and the cabinet door. I would
think the center of the roll would be about 4inches from the edge of the cabinet.

shouldn't have a problem. It's also possible to pad the hanger if that is a concern.
